Hikari can pretty much do anything and do it well he tanks, does damage, is great at breaking, and doesn't need a lot of setup or babying. Although this is tiered from S to C there's still not a ton of daylight between them every character is insanely strong in the end.
It's possible I've overlooked some things but this is generally my experience so far.take it with a grain of salt and let me know where you think I'm crazy, or where you agree. For context, I've completed everyone's stories and the whole cast is around level 80.
